What is the project about:
Activity 1: 26.9.2025 Esztergom – Heroes of History on the Danube
Excursions: organizing cross-border trips to explore historical landmarks, such as the Basilica of Esztergom and the cultural sites in Štúrovo to deepen understanding of shared heritage;
Lectures: inviting experts to give lectures on the history, architecture, and socio-economic ties between Esztergom and Štúrovo;
Workshops: promotion of cultural and history understanding;
Number of people: 15 students and 2 teachers of Dunabogdány Általános Iskola (HU), 7 students and 1 teacher of Základná škola Gbelce (SK), 8 students and 1 teacher of Základná škola pri Podlužianke, Levice (SK), 2 experts (SK/HU)
Activity 2: 24.10.2025 Štúrovo – The Danube Connects
Self-Development educational program focused on personal growth (communication, leadership, creativity) and activities to encourage active participation in cross-border initiatives via art;
Number of people: same as in A1
Activity 3: 10.4.2026 Štúrovo/Esztergom- Cultural Festival – Building Bridges
Organizing joint festival presenting works created by students as well as art, music and food from both Hungarian and Slovak traditions
Number of people: 30 students and 2 teachers of Dunabogdány Általános Iskola (HU), 15 students and 1 teacher of Základná škola Gbelce, 15 students and 1 teacher of Základná škola pri Podlužianke, Levice (SK), 4 experts (SK/HU)
