Veľké finále projektu „Building Bridges“
Dňa 13. apríla sme úspešne zavŕšili sériu stretnutí v rámci medzinárodného V4 projektu „Building Bridges“. Záverečné podujatie sa nieslo v znamení kreativity a objavovania krás Ostrihomu.
Program obohatila vzácna hosťka zo Štúrova, výtvarníčka Anika Krberstchek z Berlína, ktorá v meste pôsobí v rámci projektu „Bridgeguard“. Pod jej vedením študenti pracovali na veľkoformátových posteroch. Hoci boli témy rôznorodé, spájal ich spoločný cieľ: nájsť a vyjadriť paralely medzi Slovenskom a Maďarskom. Naše spoločné diela sme následne vlastnoručne inštalovali priamo na moste Márie Valérie.
Popoludnie patrilo interaktívnej hre Actionbound, ktorá žiakov previedla tými najkrajšími zákutiami Ostrihomu a priblížila im jeho bohatú históriu. Celý projekt hodnotíme ako mimoriadne inšpiratívny a už teraz pre naše školy pripravujeme ďalšie zaujímavé aktivity.
Projekt je spolufinancovaný vládami Českej republiky, Maďarska, Poľska a Slovenska prostredníctvom Vyšehradských grantov z Medzinárodného Vyšehradského Fondu. Poslaním fondu je rozvíjať myšlienky trvalo udržateľnej regionálnej spolupráce v strednej Európe.

The Grand Finale of ‚Building Bridges‘: Art and History Converge
On April 13th, we held the final meeting of our V4 project, ‚Building Bridges‘. This concluding chapter focused on two main themes: unlocking creativity and exploring the historic streets of Esztergom.
We were honored to welcome a special guest, Anika Keberstek from Berlin, a resident artist of the ‚Bridgeguard‘ project in Štúrovo. Anika led the creative workshop, guiding students in painting large-format posters. While the themes varied, they all shared a common thread: identifying the cultural and social bonds between Slovakia and Hungary. These vibrant artworks were later personally displayed by our students on the Maria Valeria Bridge.
The afternoon featured an Actionbound adventure through Esztergom, allowing students to discover the city’s most picturesque spots and dive deep into its history. The project has been a source of great inspiration, and we are already looking forward to launching more exciting activities for our schools in the near future.
This project is co-financed by the governments of Czechia, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia through Visegrad Grants from the International Visegrad Fund. The mission of the fund is to advance ideas for sustainable regional cooperation in Central Europe.
